I'm not dead
I'm just lazy. I have been here in Seattle for a month. Sadly, my fish Rainbow died before I left when a fungus outbreak threatened the whole tank, but Boo Boo came on the plane with me and is doing well inhis new tank. Joel got a tiny plecostamus and named him Emperor Suzuki. He is about three times as big as he was a month ago now. I have been waiting on my nail license to transfer so I have no started work yet. It was issues yesterday so hopefully I should get it in a week or so. Everything that could have gone wrong did, so it took a really long time.
A costume and bridal shop a few blocks down from here had a garage sale a few weeks ago, and they had a box of slightly scuffed dyeable satin shoes in various styles and sizes for 1$ a pair. I bought 7 pairs of them to paint. I just finished painting the fifth pair and I have them up on etsy for sale. I've been doing lots of painting since I have been here, cause that is really all there is to do. That and watch movies. I watched Factory Girl which wasn't very good last night, and I also watched Crumb a documentary about Bob Crumb the artist. It was good but it was also depressing.
I guess my ex is getting remarried. I have heard that regardless of how long it's been since the divorce that it's always a hard time when your ex remarries. They were right. I don't really know why because it's not like I have any feelings for him, it's just generally upsetting and depressing, but for no real good reason.
